The fifteenth year of the Hampshire Food Fare Festival has been a celebration of local produce highlighting Hampshire’s delicious flavours created by chefs, winemakers and producers. Hattingley Valley is delighted to have co-hosted two particular events during the Festival.

The Vineyards of Hampshire Wine Festival
The Festival showcased seven of Hampshire’s wine producers: Hambledon, Cottonworth, Danebury, Exton Park, Meonhill, Jenkyn Place and Hattingley Valley. The wine producers offered tastings and shared their wine making knowledge with interested visitors. Delicious local produce was on offer from Parsonage Farm, Hill Farm Juice, Yarty’s Cordials, Jake’s Artisan Pies, Lyburn Cheese and a Braai with some great boerwors. We were pleased to welcome over 700 visitors the challenging British weather did not deter and the wine festival witnessed many visitors returning to cars laden with Hampshire wine.

Roses and Wine
Hattingley Valley has partnered The Real Flower Company to become their on-sale choice of English Sparkling Wine. Together we held an evening tour of the Rose Paddocks at Hinton Ampner accompanied by a reception of our Blanc de Blancs and canapés made with locally sourced produce. It was a perfect summer evening which allowed over 100 guests to enjoy both the roses and wine.
